From Holden O’Neal, SHARE Director, Leader Development
The SHARE Sacramento event that took place in March was a great week of education, networking, and announcements from IBM and other software vendors. The entire event was made possible in large part by the gracious efforts of volunteers that are passionate about enterprise computing and the technologies that enable its success.
With this event, SHARE gained more volunteers. These new volunteers will be going through the enhanced on-boarding process that I referenced in my September 2017 article. While the conference is focused on professional networking and education, there are additional benefits to being a SHARE volunteer. One key benefit is that of personal development through leadership experience by working in committees, holding officer positions or participating on a task force.
I would like to explain some of the new resources available to all volunteers. These resources are intended to help explain the volunteer organizational structure of SHARE, as well as provide on-going education for volunteers with online training modules.
If you are currently a volunteer, please follow the links below to access the materials. You will need to login to SHARE.org in order to access. If you are not a volunteer, but are interested in learning more about it, please follow this link to the Volunteer Interest Form: Volunteer Interest Form on SHARE.org.
