4 Steps to Promoting Your SHARE’d Intelligence Article
1. Share on your social media platforms
- Write your post. Here is some example phrasing you can modify:
- I’m excited to be a contributor to SHARE’d Intelligence, the official blog of SHARE. Read my article on [XXX topic] and let me know your thoughts in the comments! [Insert article link]
- Happy to provide perspective on SHARE’d Intelligence for #SHARE! My article about [XXX topic] is ready to read now at [Insert article link].
- Consider adding a sentence about why this topic matters to you.
- Tag SHARE on social platforms:
2. Engage with SHARE’s social posts and content
- If you haven’t yet, please let the SHARE content team know your social media handles so they can tag you.
- Once your article is shared, join the conversation by:
- Commenting on the post
- Resharing it
- Adding it to your social media feed
- Engage with other posts on SHARE’s social media platforms to help amplify fellow SHARE voices!
3. Start or join a conversation on Communities
- Determine where you would like to share your content:
- General Discussions forum
- Specialized group
- If relevant, determine which author will create the post.
- Aim to drive engagement (e.g., ask a question). Example for this article:
- Post Title: How Do You Boost Mainframe Security and Performance?
Post Body: Hi everyone, I’m excited to share this article I contributed to SHARE’d Intelligence: “Boosting Mainframe Security and Performance: Key Enhancements in IBM z/OS DFSMS” [Insert article link]

- Let the SHARE’d Intelligence content team know you are planning to post. They are happy to assist you in creating your message and can include a link to the conversation within the article itself.
- Bonus: Send out an email to your mainframe colleagues, sharing your article and engaging them with more personalized outreach.
4. Record a short video with our easy-to-use platform
- Consider these tips:
- Ensure notifications are silenced on your computer and move to a quiet place to record.
- Select a background that isn’t busy and have a light source in front of you (e.g., in front of a window, instead of behind you).
- Look directly into the camera on your computer instead of at the screen.
- Practice your talking points prior to hitting the record button.
- Relax and have fun!
Click here to record your video. Once you submit it, SHARE staff will be able to access the video to use in promotions, but you can also download it to share on your own social media platforms.
