Columbus, Ohio, has become a Midwestern technology hub, with TechCrunch reporting that venture capitalists have injected more than $3 billion into the city in the last two decades. This innovative city has earned the new moniker of "Test City, USA," and with the city's highly skilled workforce, it is easy to see why SHARE's next event will be held in Columbus.
Local resident James Vincent, senior systems architect at Velocity Software Inc. and deputy director of conference operations at SHARE, says the Hyatt Regency and Convention Center where SHARE Columbus (Aug. 21-26) will be held is in an area with an abundance of restaurants and bars. "The Nationwide Arena district and the 'Short North' are both short walks from the hotel," he adds.
Traveling to the hotel is a breeze since it’s less than 10 minutes from Columbus International Airport. Grab a rental car, Uber, Lyft or local taxi for all your transportation needs to the event, airport, and more.
"During the summer, there are always events going on around the area either with Columbus Clippers Baseball, concerts, and events at the Nationwide Arena or Kemba Live! with live music," says Vincent. "There is plenty to do around the area to keep you busy on your 'off' hours from SHARE!"
