Welcome to this month’s Message from SHARE! We have more than ever going on in our mission to provide education, professional networking, and industry influence.
On August 13, SHARE Virtual Experience 2021 closed with over:
- 1,110 registrations
- 130 on-demand sessions
- 110 live sessions
As expected, we even saw more attendees per session virtually, compared to in-person events. What’s most exciting, perhaps, is that participants stated that the technical content and educational knowledge shared during the conference exceeded their expectations. I applaud all who facilitated educational sessions, and thank those who joined us!
With access to the virtual platform available through at least next week, below is a list of the Top 10 most-attended sessions. If you missed any, now’s your chance to catch up with the rest of the community.
- What's New in z/OS V2R5: Summer 2021 Virtual Edition
- How Zowe made the mainframe open, simple, and familiar
- MVS Program Opening, Executive Overview, and Q&A
- Ask an Expert: Mainframe Workforce Training for the New Mainframe Workplace
- What's NEW in z/OSMF V2R5
- Language Environment (LE) Overview and Updates

As a reminder, all attendees have access to on-demand sessions through either August 31 or December 31. Access is dependent upon whether registrants opted in to provide contact information with SHARE partners.
What’s next for SHARE events?
Next up, join SHARE at IBM Z Day on September 15 to learn about our industry-leading programs, including:
